A Family day.

We took the day and visited the Henry Doorly zoo yesterday. It was great fun....and the weather wasa wonderful for it too. While there, we also watched an Imax movie--the first movie in 3D for the girls. They kept trying to reach the stuff in front of them. It was cute. Seanna kept asking..is that on the screen? And when I told her yes..she replied: Good.
Yes, all is good.

Seanna got glasses in July. So far she is okay with them. She does a pretty good job of keeping them on and clean. We will be crosssing our fingers that this helps with the lazy eye. She has told us that they do help her see to read--that is a wonderful thing since that girls LOVES to read.

One day the girls asked for curlers to be put in their hair--so, here is Cassidy "cheesing" for the camera while she had her curlers in. They just love those things.

We went to the county fair and the girls got to get something painted on their faces. Seanna chose a horse--even though the girl didn't have a stencil for that. Still, it turned out pretty good. Cassidy got some pretty flowers. After this, we watched their cousins show their cattle. Congrats to Codie and Riley for doing so well.

After visiting the fair, we went and got most of the school shopping done. Seanna will be a 1st grader this year and Cassidy will be in her 2nd year of pre-school. She missed the deadline for starting school by 2 weeks--which is okay. She will get that chance to have more pre-school this way. And at the last minute, we have decided to try to move Seanna to another school. We are still pending that decision--hopefully we get notification for the School board before school starts next Wed. (fingers crossed). We believe it will be a good thing, but it isn't because we are not happy with her current school--many other reasons.
