Happy July 5th!!!

Since we were in a park that did not allow the blowing up of fireworks on the 4th...we decided to go watch some let off by Greg & Cheri and family. The girls really loved seeing some of their cousins and all the animals on the farm. You can see that they got to get on a tractor, play with a miniature horse and chase after a goat or two. And mom & dad got to drive Greg's new toy--the 4 wheeler. It was great!!! Then we had some grilled food & waited for dark. We were even able to see of of the Lincoln show from their house. We didn't get home til almost midnight, so the girls were crashed when we tried to get them out of their clothes...see picture below. But a good time was had by all, NEVERTHELESS!!

The first 6 days of July 2009.

We started off the month with a camping trip. This time we went to Mahoney state park. There are lots of things to do there--good thing some of the activities were inside since there was a little bit of rain with this trip (imagine that!). The girls painted little bird houses, played some miniture golf, climbed the observation tower & most importantly, went for a couple of pony rides. Fun times.
