a visit from Italian relatives

The Adventurers---Seanna, Cassidy & Becky

This past week we had visitors from Italy and Denver. Jared, the girls and I got to spend Wed. evening and all dayThurs. getting to know cousins from Italy--well, Jared knew one of them. Loretta, Luca and their 2 children came for a visit. It was very nice to get to spend tme with them. The girls had a wonderful time with the younger 3rd cousins. We went to Pioneers park for a picnic & to the Nature center there to see some interesting things. And the Bison were up close so we got to see them. Then later, we all got together for a bbq & the kids got to play in the pool to cool off.

Slacker!!

Okay, that is what I am--it has been just a day shy of a month since my last post. I have been reminded today that I have not put anything new out here lately--Thanks Nicole. Anyway, it has been a busy month for us. first we finished up swim lessons, as least the first one for the year. And then we had family pictures taken, and the following week both girls had pictures taken for dance. The last weekend of May they had their recital. It was very cute--and something that they look forward to all year long. I really enjoy seeing them up there on stage performing.

Last Thurs, was the last day of Kindergarten for Seanna--she is already wanting to start 1st grade. That girl just loves school. I want her to keep that attitude. She even makes her little sister excited to do writing skills.

This past weekend we went out to Branched Oak to do some camping--out first outing with the camper this season. It was a very stormy weekend--rained both nights and we had some excitement. The awning of the camper blew up onto the roof of the camper and kept flapping around for the rest of the night. Crazy!!!!

I will post some photos in the next day or so--when I am on the computer with the pictures loaded onto it.
