So, when I picked up Seanna yesterday from daycare she informed me that she had a loose tooth. And when we checked, sure enough, she was right. Her left bottom tooth is wiggling around. I know that the dentist told me that she would probably loose her bottom 2 between the ages of 6 & 7, but come on!!! She just turned six. I guess this is a sign that she is growing up faster then I can to admit. She is very excited about the possiblity of a tooth fairy visit in her near future. And 2 others in her class also have loose teeth, so they seem to be chatting about how the tooth fairy is going to find their houses. I told her the the tooth fairy and Santa share maps, and not to worry about that.
Other than that, we are just enjoying some time that is pretty calm after all the holidays and birhtday celebrations. Lucy is getting bigger every day--she seems twice the size she was when we brought her home about 3 weeks ago.

Seanna's 6th birthday celebration
She is 6!!! Who can believe how quickly that went by? Seems like we went from the tiny 2 lb 10 oz baby to a 40 lb kindergartener in a blink of an eye. She is really turning into quite the fantastic little girl. She had a good time eating cake and opening presents on the day before her birthday (since it fell on a Monday, that was just easier). Then on her actual birthday we all went to eat dinner at IHOP after the girls got done with dance classes. Seanna was super excited when they came to sing to her.

A new member to the Patterson family....
Meet Lucy the puppy. We got her from a home breeder on Sat. We had been considering a 2nd dog for a while and found one that we were looking for. She is a Cairn terrier and will only get to be around 12-15 lbs. Of course her eyes are not blue like that--that is just a trick of the camera. :) Now our fund of house training begins....hopefully she will follow the ways of her "older brother". Comet is not quite sure what to think of her yet.
